17th Year Celebrations of Natya Tarangini Hyderabad!
Dear Friends,
We at Natya Tarangini Hyderabad are thrilled to be celebrating our 17th anniversary. As we mark this remarkable milestone, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary journey we’ve taken together. This moment is a testament to our shared passion, commitment, and the countless memories we've created.
Natya Tarangini was founded in Delhi by Padma Bhushan awardees Raja and Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy. Yamini Reddy founded the Hyderabad Centre in 2007 and it serves as a beacon of artistic excellence in the city. Natya Tarangin Hyderabad regularly offers specialized workshops and outreach programs. Scholarships are offered to students from economically weaker sections who are immensely passionate about dance, enriching the community and fostering cultural heritage. Additionally, the Annual World Dance Day award, honors individuals whose contributions to the dance world deserve recognition.
This anniversary, we are honored to present the the Annual World Dance Day award to V.A.K. Ranga Rao in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to Indian classical dance, music, and cinema. A distinguished scholar, critic, and connoisseur, he has dedicated decades to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of India, particularly in classical dance forms like Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam. This award is our small way of giving back to the art community that has enriched our lives and shaped our identities. It reflects our gratitude for the passion and dedication V.A.K. Ranga Rao has shown throughout his career, serving as a guiding light for current and future generations. Natya Tarangini remains dedicated to nurturing artistic talent and providing a vibrant cultural environment. Over the past 17 years, we have built a beautiful legacy centered around the art of dance that fills us with immense pride.
